Candidate Forum (Zoom)

The City Club of Boise and League of Women Voters of Idaho, Greater Boise Area are partnering to host a public forum for candidates for Boise City Council on Thursday, October 14, at noon via Zoom. Luci is participating!

This forum is free and open to the public, and will be recorded for broadcast on Boise State Public Radio and archived on the City Club of Boise YouTube channel.

This forum is designed to provide attendees with opportunities to learn about the candidates. There will be time for opening statements from each candidate and questions from the audience. This forum will be moderated by Dr. Stephanie Witt, Director of Training for the School of Public Service and Professor in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) and Political Science programs at Boise State University.

b|voting Part I

Have you always wanted to learn more about local politics,F but don't know where to start? We know it can feel like a lot to process, and that's why we've got you covered!

Join us this October for our two-part series where we will break down the role of local government and hear directly from the candidates running for Boise City Council this year! Night one will be an informational session at the Boise Metro Chamber on Thursday, October 7th, from 6:00-8:00pm, where we will hear from former public servants and current Boise leaders who are shaping our community. Night two will be a forum with the 2021 city council candidates on Thursday, October 14th, from 6:00-8:00pm. The forum will be moderated by journalist Margaret Carmel at Trailhead in downtown Boise.

Whether you were born and raised in Boise or moved here yesterday, the b|Voting series is a great way to learn more about our community and to hear about the different visions for how we move forward!
